What a great iPod! This is the best I have seen yet! I run an online business called “iPod Ideas” at http://www.ipodideas.webs.com that supports hacking the iPod. This is the best video ipod I have ever used! I hack iPods for fun and this one is potentially harder to hack. I have only experienced 1 problem and it was from the firmware. ok first of all this is the easiest thing to fix in the world.

ok step 1 plug your ipod into the computor and itunes will unlock it automaticly if that doesnt work restore it.

someone,
help me…
i bought my ipod few months back and i just started to explore it recently..
so, when i was exploring, i accidentally press the lock screen button and it requires me to enter the right password…
and.. i dont know wats the password or the number combination..
how could i solve thiss?
i’d press the menu and centre button and stuff (as wat it should be done wen the pod isnt rsponding), but it didnt work..

so, somebody, plz help me..

well here’s the thing. i got the third generation iPod for christmas last year and had it for about 6-8 months. then it was washed. i put it in rice for like 2 months and nothing ; it still doesn’t work, i would like to know if anyone know any repair work that could be done so i don’t have to but a brand new one. i will try almost anything. thank you.

you can by an attachment that clips onto the bottom to play radio, or get a dock

Same thing happened to me. I returned it and got a new one. Same thing happened again. Just left it this time and weirdly enough after about 8 months I went back to it and plugged it into the computer, and it magically worked again. I’m not sure how it happened.

I just bought my ipod i got 200 songs on it (ipod 4gig 3rd gen.) i got all my songs of limewire and i also got some videos off limewire to go to itunes i saw the videos on the itunes library but when i drag it to my ipod it tells me my video can not be played on this ipod????

Can anyone HELP?????

Use file to add file to library. Once you get a video into the movie folder, then you have to right click and convert it to ipod style. It took me forever to get it right.

I’ve had my Ipod Nano 3rd Gen. for around a year. I love this thing. It’s my first Ipod, but I’ve had mp3 players before. Some simple things that annoy me personally: the battery life. I lasts FOREVER on certain occasions, and the next, it last for an hour. It may just be where I charge it at, my Ipod dock usually charges it better than my USB port. Also, if I want to use my friend’s Itunes, I usually can’t because they have to have a certain version of a newer Itunes; most of my friends have the 2nd Gen. Ipod. Also, I didn’t have the internet for awhile; how was a supposed to get Itunes? Thankfully, my parents caved fpr the internet, but before then, I was stuck with no music and a useless Ipod. Last thing: while playing “Klondike” on my Ipod, if I search through songs, then my Ipod resets, I lose all my settings, and any current playlists I had not saved. These are all very easily fixed things, though, and other than that, I am pleased with my Ipod.

the iPod nano is useless where games are concerned. There are no free games available for downloads, all need to be purchased from apple
